We engaged Rich Burns of Cornerstone Carpentry and his crew to do a major remodel of our coastal cottage plus an addition which nearly doubled its size. From the bidding process to the finished project and all the follow-up, we have been beyond satisfied. Rich was careful and thorough and upfront in the bidding process; we understood what was involved, and there were no surprises. He and his crew worked perfectly with our architects throughout the design and construction process. Rich and his team--including the various subcontractors such as the dedicated plumber, the innovative electrician, the hard-working earth-mover and landscape builder, the very talented cabinet maker, the efficient roofer, and I'm probably forgetting some--were responsive and prompt, and produced extraordinary quality at the agreed-up cost. Our cottage is beautiful and high-quality and the process was a pleasure. Last but not least, after we had moved in and were loving the cottage, we could turn to Rich and his team for any minor problems that manifested themselves -- and he and the team have followed through.
